In the matter of 1 month one of our spare bedrooms has gone from being a storage room with random items to an actual baby room! It has been so fun to watch the progress. We first got our crib and I loved it, walking by the room seeing the crib. Then about a week later we got a dresser! We had been looking every where for a dresser. We wanted a long one, because we have a long empty wall that needed to be filled up. My mom helped me pick out the dresser, it took us looking at a few other dressers to realize the first one we originally loved was our favorite still! So we ended up loading it up and taking it home that night!! Cleared the room of the random objects and it was perfect!! It's so pretty! I love it! When we were at the furniture store there was also a baseball lamp there on clearance! It is exactly what I had been looking for! I have a few more things to get for decoration on top of the dresser, but for now this is it! I need to get a few things to complete it!
We are doing his room in a baseball theme. Furniture is all black, then colors are red. White, and a navy blue. We are having a lady do our bedding and curtains and they should be done here in a few weeks! I can't wait to see the bedding! This last weekend my mom was up north and I had been telling her about hobby lobby and how bad I had wanted to go there, Nate picked up a few cute items, but she had to check it out herself and she fell in love!!! She ended up buying 3 baseball decorations and they couldn't be more perfect! She came over Sunday as soon as we got home from being out of town to show us and like I said they were perfect! I had originally planned on a baseball quote with vinyl for behind the crib, but now I am going to have to put it on another wall because Dix found the perfect decorations for above the crib. It's coming right together!
Nate and I had bought a changing table for a great deal from some friends. It was originally brown, this weeks project was repainting it black! It was a fun few nights we had sanding and painting it. We sat and laughed and it ended up being such a fun time! Nate is such a perfectionist so it's perfect! He took it apart and made it absolutely flawless
! So that's the update on the baby room!! It's coming right along. I love walking by and seeing it every night on my way to bed. I am getting so excited and ready for this little guy! I am 31 weeks! Time is flying by!
